In the museum's own words — in Dutch

Spotprent op het (niet bestaande) Comité van Gezondheid, 1795. Een groep van Nederlandse en Franse kwakzalvers rondom de Nederlandse Maagd van de Bataafse Republiek, voorgesteld als een oude lelijke vrouw met ontblote borsten. Een van de charlatans heeft haar ader geopend en bloed spuit in een schotel in haar schoot. De staande burger rechts is waarschijnlijk de chirurgijn Willem Leurs die een verhandeling schreef over aderlaten.
