About the sculpture
These three models in wax were presumably designs intended for rosary beads, or small devotional medalets. These models are on thin plaques of slate and each bear two or three designs enclosed within an inscribed oval. The images include Christ Carrying His Cross, the Crucufixion and Pentecost.
