Retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum
The Guggenheim Museum in New York holds the last retrospective of Paik’s lifetime, with the commissioned site-specific installation “Modulation in Sync” that integrates the museum’s space into the exhibition; the curator is John G. Hanhardt. It coincides with a downtown gallery showing of video works by his wife Shigeko Kubota, mainly about his recovery from the stroke.
