About the painting
Structural, compoziția este simplă, peștele (cega) fiind dispus orizontal, cu capul spre partea stângă, iar în plan secund se află un vas de aramă profilat pe un fundal negru. Însă paleta cromatică restrânsă (griuri calde și reci, balansate de roșul stins al vasului) participă la atmosfera sumbră des întâlnită în opera lui Andreescu. Semnat dreapta jos cu roșu.
