Bustul de femeie, realizat în manieră neoclasică, înfățișează o tânără melancolică, cu capul ușor întors spre dreapta, în rochie de seară, cu părul strâns în coc. Bustul pare să fi fost comandat de model, deoarece sculptorul este preocupat să redea statutul social al tinerei femei.
