In the museum's own words — in Dutch

In de voorgrond de Romeinse godin van het huis. Zij meet met een passer een stuk steen. Naast haar allerlei meetinstrumenten. In de achtergrond een bouwwerf met arbeiders en een bouwmeester. De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift en maakt deel uit van een prentenreeks over de menselijke bedrijvigheden.
