In the museum's own words — in Dutch

Bileam staat met Balak, de koning van Moab, op een berg en zij kijken uit over het tentenkamp van de Israëlieten. Balak wil dat Bileam het volk vervloekt, maar Bileam zegent ze juist. Op de berg zijn altaren opgericht en er staan Moabitische strijders. Onder de voorstelling een verwijzing in het Latijn naar de Bijbeltekst in Num. 23-24.
