In the museum's own words — in Dutch

God de Vader verschijnt, omringd door cherubijnen, aan de hemel bij de toren van Babel. Hij brengt een spraakverwarring teweeg, waardoor de mensen elkaar niet meer kunnen verstaan. De mensen rond de toren vluchten alle kanten op. Een aantal van hen vlucht op een olifant en op kamelen. Op de voorgrond kijken Nimrod en andere mannen verschrikt toe. Onder de voorstelling een tekst in het Latijn.
