Au premier plan, de 3/4 de profil, une jeune femme coiffée d'un chignon haut se dévêt près d'un tronc d'arbre. Sur sa droite, une seconde femme, nue et immergée à mi-corps dans la rivière, se frotte le visage des deux mains.
