About the sculpture
This portrait relief in coloured wax on a slate background depicts an unknown boy. A half-length figure of a boy, of about seven years of age with long light brown hair is shown in profile to the right. He wears a high collar with black stock, pink waistcoat and high-collared greenish-grey coat.
