    Writing about the making of wall drawings, he observes that each person draws a line differently and each person understands words differently.

    In 1972–1973 his exhibitions are mounted at the Kunsthalle Bern and the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford.

    Two MATRIX exhibitions at the Wadsworth Atheneum

    For the third MATRIX exhibition at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford he creates “The Location of a Rectangle for the Hartford Atheneum”; later that year he takes part in the sixth MATRIX, providing instructions for a second wall drawing.
