In the museum's own words — in Dutch

De vrouwelijke personificatie van het continent Afrika op de voorgrond. Naast haar liggen pijl en boog. Op haar hoofd draagt zij een grote ronde hoed. Op de achtergrond een Afrikaans landschap met een Afrikaans gekleed paar en enkele inheemse dieren zoals leeuwen en olifanten. De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift en is deel van een vierdelige serie met personificaties van de vier continenten.
