Voor een ruïne staan een sater, mogelijk Marsyas, Bacchus op een wijnvat en Ceres met een strohalm. Voor hen zit een vorst, mogelijk koning Midas. Voor zijn voeten liggen kostbaarheden uitgestald. In de achtergrond grazend vee.
