May one see it?
London, United Kingdom
It belongs to the collection, but is not on display at present.
This relief in coloured wax depicts a man watering flowers. In a landscape with flowers, stones and trees is the standing figure of a man looking down to the right watering a border (or grave) of flowers in the middle of which new flowers are springing up in the name of Bety. On the left there is a tree. The lower segment of the composition below the border is cut off by a narrow strip of stamped gilt metal (or paper) shows a stony rise.
