This carved oak statuette of a Dominican friar clad in a long tunic, scapula and hood stands on a six-sided pedestal with open-work panels of Gothic tracery round the sides. Four of the feet are in the form of the fore-parts of lions; the other two feet are plain. There are remains of colour and gilding on the pedestal.
