Για τον πίνακα
Vase of Flowers, painted by Paul Gauguin around 1880, has been on deposit at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rennes since 1954. A bouquet and book share the window setting, with a balustrade, house and sky also visible. At just 19 by 27 cm, the oil painting is small enough to frame this interior and exterior together. Gauguin signed the lower-left corner.
