Über das Werk
This work is about the process of drawing itself. Tim Head makes lines on the paper, allowing them to accumulate until he judges the work to be finished. There is no attempt to represent a subject. Although this process seems impersonal and machine-like, the artist has explained that his drawings 'carry the nervous rhythms and seismic waverings of the hand-made.'
