Drawing in the manner of impressionist sketch depicting a scene of 'Coriolanus' at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in 1959. Drawn by Veronica Haigh.

This production was directed by Sir Peter Hall with Sir Laurence Olivier in the character of Coriolanus and Dame Edith Evan as Volumnia. This production was part of the celebration of the hundredth season that took place in the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
