Solo exhibition at the Centre Pompidou
A solo exhibition of his work is held at the Centre Pompidou, Musée National d'Art Moderne, in Paris. In 1983 his sculpture “Clara-Clara” is temporarily installed at the Tuileries, by the Place de la Concorde.
1986
First retrospective at MoMA
The first retrospective of his work is held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The same year he also has a solo exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk.
