Returns to his Futurist subjects
After 1950 he turns again to the motifs of his early period — dance, light and movement — and reworks his Futurist pictures in line with the vogue for abstract art.

Mosaics in Paris, “The Futurists” in New York
His mosaics are shown at the Cahiers d’Art gallery in Paris, he takes part in a conference on the history of mosaic at Ravenna, and he participates in the exhibition The Futurists, Balla – Severini 1912–1918 at the Rose Fried Gallery in New York.
