The Harrow Globe Theatre was established by Ronald Watkins, English and Classics teacher at Harrow School from 1932 to 1964. The Harrow Globe is a theatre inspired by the Elizabethan stage and used to this day as a place to perform Shakespeare's plays. Maurice Percival was Art Master at Harrow School from 1945 to 1954 illustrating Ronald Watkins' book Moonlight at the Globe; an essay in Shakespeare production based on performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Harrow.
