O díle

A pencil note calls this Sunflowers the first impression of M. C. Escher’s 1918 linocut. It is in Washington’s National Gallery of Art. The design combines a round flower centre, projecting petals and curling lines. Escher printed it on pale tan wove paper; the block measures 16.5 by 15.1 centimetres.
