O díle
Self-Portrait, dated 1918, is M. C. Escher’s linocut in two browns in the National Gallery of Art’s Washington collection. Two blocks printed the head on brown paper. The face inclines downwards, with angular patches of shadow around the eye and cheek. A graphite signature at the lower right includes the earlier date ’17.
