O díle
Allegorical vignette representing history from a series of twelve (including title page). The title is lettered in the center on a textile held up by an upside-down winged putto holding a scythe, representing father time. In the background clouds, trees, and foliage, with draped figures, monuments including a sphynx on a plinth. Below a putto reaches up at the fabric, holds a quill and leans against an open book, surrounded by a fragment form a column, medals, scrolls, an urn, garlands, bowls, books, and papers. On the edge of the base are symbols resembling hieroglyphs and a festoon of leaves. Lettering below the vignette and the plate is signed.
